This is the final product from the twin skull drawing.

It recently occurred to me how cool some of our existing art work we be as a zipper pull on a leather jacket.

I had made the angle wings into one for my friend Bud and it looked great so we are in the process of configuring several others the same way.   If you see something on our Outrider site that you like we can probably do it as a zipper pull for your jacket.

Not for sale yet, but coming soon.  We have a bunch of new silver pulls that will take your leather to a new level.

The ring contest was a great success and the help naming the ring was much appreciated.  We had over 100 entries some of which sucked, but most were very clever.  Although it was not the winner one of my favorites was “not good” from one guys 2 year old son. 

The winner was “Death Grip” sent in first by Danny Romeyn and  at least 3 other guys.  The Danny in will recieve the $100 credit and the other 3 will get $25 credits.  All names will be posted here and on the website shortly.

I saw I guy with a tee shirt that had skulls with a shared eye like this.  I wanted to see if I could draw one.

It might make a cool belt buckel.  If you have any ideas let me know.

I sent out an email to show these guys off.  I thought I would post them here.  They are 18k with marque emerald eyes.  Really heavy.  You can find the sterling silver version at www.outriderj.com  I would be happy to make you one, but with the price of gold going through the roof better take a out a second mortgage.

For years we have been receiving calls from bike shops that would like to carry our biker line of jewelry, but because of limited production capacity we have never been able to make enough of it to satisfy our customer, let alone produce for other retailers.  Over the last year we have brought on several talented folks to help us get more done and out the door.  As a result of this we are now able to offer Outrider Jewelry to a limited number of retailers.  In deciding to do this we have also developed a really cool jewelry case to display our line in.  With the great services of welder extraordinaire Bud Remington we have come up with a jewelry case that is at least a cool as our biker jewelry line.  Bud who specializes in custom frames had to bring in a friend who knew nothing about welding to show him how to make some of the crappy welds I wanted on the case.  He couldn’t remember how to lay down a crooked weld.  After a few test  we really came up with cool case, that the jewelry looks dynamite in.  Its sits about 5″ off the wall and is  made from folded sheet and expanded metal on the sides. Even with the glass in it, it ‘s not to heavy.  I didn’t get a chance to fill it up with jewelry, we are still working on the inside shelves.   So here it is, let me know what you think.

I am really excited about having a place to post information and ask questions of our Outrider Jewelry customers.  I get lots of request to know what we are working on and when it will be finished.  I hope to post pictures of some of our one of kind pieces and products in process.  Please let us now what you think.

For those of you unfamiliar with our product line, please let me tell you who we are.  Outrider Jewelry is a small jewerly design company located in beautifull Hillsborough NC.  A small historic town right in the middle of the state.  If you live with in riding distance (and who doesn’t) it makes a fantastic ride, with lots of rolling hill and dairy land.  Always happy to have folk stop in.  We design and manufacture a line of fine quality biker jewelry in gold and silver.  Everything is our own orginal design.  If you look at any of the biker magazines you have probably seen our silver skull ring ad or seen some of our product reviews.  We have wide variety of skulls and biker themed jewelry.  Check out barbwire bracelet and necklace.

As all of you know, when Carter was diagnosed with Fanconi anemia, or FA, we were all devastated! This has taken a huge toll on our family and put us in a position full of uneasiness and unsure as to what would be best for Carter. Our trip to Minnesota brought us a lot of hope and we have decided that Carter will be best cared for in Minnesota. The doctor we went to see named Dr. John Wagner is the FA expert in the world. He is currently seeing 250 patients with Fanconi anemia. He told us a lot of good and bad news.
